This is really good information as I have heard from adult children and spouses where they are receiving calls from debt collectors, credit card companies, etc. seeking payment after the person who had the account has died.
Heirs are not responsible, the estate is.
Redirect calls to whomever is the executor of the estate or if there is no estate-no money to pay-do not answer the calls……
