The Five Truths About Work-Life Balance: Book Review

The Five Truths About Work-Life Balance by Jae Ellard

A simple book with information laid out in an easy to read format. This book provides information, tips, and describes the 5 truths; very practical advice for one to focus on work-life balance.

One may think they have work-life balance in-check, but reading this book makes one think, makes one question……Each of the five truths are discussed in more detail within each chapter. The flow of the book, descriptions and style are easy to follow. This book does not require hours of commitment and/or hours of reading time. One could finish it in 30 minutes or less.

There are 5 main questions to ask oneself and these could all make great discussion questions and be a good starting point in a book club or class setting.

I was expecting a longer book and one with more detail. There is good information, but  a bit simplified for me. Short and sweet works for some, but not me……
